Palms West Hospital welcomes Stacey Yuskas Demerski, as the new Administrative Director of Quality.

Stacey was most recently the Director of Quality Management at Boca Community Hospital and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Nursing at Florida Atlantic University. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at The University of Miami and received her diploma of Nursing from Saint Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in Waterbury, CT.



Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center (PBGMC) recently announced that Sylvain Trepanier, RN, BSN, MSN, has been named Chief Nursing Officer.

Trepanier brings over 18 years experience in nursing. He returns to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, where he once served as Director of Emergency Services, after six years. During that time, Trepanier held several leadership positions, including chief nursing officer and director of nursing administration at North Shore Medical Center in Miami and director of emergency services and the cardiac catheterization lab at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie.



St. Mary’s Medical Center was recently presented with two top awards by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACRN) at the group’s 17th Annual Palm Beach County luncheon.

The Gold award went to St. Mary’s for having the best Critical Care Unit among the county’s 17 hospitals. In addition, the hospital received top accolades for having the best Critical Care Nurse Leaders in Palm Beach County. Members of the St. Mary’s nurse leadership team include: Connie Rigg, RN; Joan Kilcullen, RN; John Keating, RN; and Mary Alent, RN.



Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center (PBGMC) recently announced that Nancy Blaszkowski, RN, BSN, MBA, has been named Hospital Compliance Officer.

Prior to joining the hospital, she served as a supervising compliance specialist for ProMedica Health System, an integrated healthcare delivery system based in Toledo, OH.



The Nursing Consortium of South Florida recently honored its founders including Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, Chief Nursing Officer, Pam Hardesty.
