William W. Wilson III has been named chairman of the Board of Directors of Baptist Hospital Foundation. Wilson previously served as chairman of Homestead Hospital Foundation. In addition to his volunteer leadership at Baptist Hospital Foundation, Wilson is president and CEO of RefocuX, a consulting company, and is also a partner at Tri-Tech Construction, a luxury home builder.
Barry University faculty member, Dr. Lanetta B. Jordan, was chosen by the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc. to be Chief Medical Officer for their national organization. Dr. Jordan is an associate professor and associate program director for the Master of Public Health program at Barry as well as the director of Sickle Cell Services at Memorial Healthcare System, South Broward Hospital District, in Hollywood, FL.
