Cleveland Clinic Martin Health welcomes board-certified orthopaedic surgeon Michael MacKechnie, M.D. Dr. MacKechnie specializes in orthopaedic sports medicine surgery and performs many minimally invasive procedures to help people stay active.

Dr. MacKechnie earned his medical degree from McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Quebec. He completed the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency program at University of Toronto. Dr. MacKechnie completed the Clinical Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine program at University of California – Los Angeles, where he worked as the assistant team physician to the Los Angeles Lakers and the UCLA Bruins football team.
 
Prior to joining Martin Health, Dr. MacKechnie has practiced as an orthopaedic sports medicine surgery attending physician in Maine, and was a Clinical Instructor at Dartmouth College’s Faculty of Medicine.



Cleveland Clinic Martin Health welcomes board-certified pediatric physician Elizabeth Feldman, D.O.

Dr. Feldman earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Fla. She also earned a BA in Biochemistry, with a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies at New York University.
 
Dr. Feldman is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatrics. Prior to joining Martin Health, she has practiced as a pediatrician in Stuart.
 
 



Board-certified neuro-oncologist and medical oncologist Manmeet Ahluwalia, M.D., FACP, M.B.A., joins Baptist Health’s Miami Cancer Institute, as deputy director, chief scientific officer and chief of solid tumor medical oncology. Board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, neuro-oncology and hematology, Dr. Ahluwalia is a leading expert in brain metastases and primary brain tumors.

Dr. Ahluwalia joins Miami Cancer Institute from the Cleveland Clinic, where he was the Dean and Diane Miller Family Endowed Chair in Neuro-Oncology and the head of operations in the Rose Ella Burkhardt Brain Tumor and Neuro-Oncology Center (BBTC). He also served as a professor in the Department of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
 
Dr. Ahluwalia earned his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi. He completed his internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Health System and hematology/oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Center Institute. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Ahluwalia holds a Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic.



Florida Atlantic University’s online master’s in nursing administration program is ranked No. 11 in the nation in 2021 by U.S. News & World Report, climbing from No. 17 in 2020. In addition, FAU’s bachelor’s degree program is ranked No. 53 in the nation this year, climbing from No. 73 in 2020.

FAU has offered online bachelor’s degree programs since 2011. Fully online undergraduate programs are offered in FAU’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, College of Business, College of Social Work and Criminal Justice, College of Engineering and Computer Science, Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing and Charles E. Schmidt College of Science.
 



Dr. Antonella Leary recently performed her 1000th robotic surgery with the Da Vinci robot at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Dr. Leary specializes in female malignancies, including cervical, vulvar, uterine, and ovarian carcinomas.   By using a Da Vinci robot, the surgeons at Good Samaritan Medical Center are able to perform complex surgeries with precision and control that is not possible with bare hands. Robotic surgery is performed with just a few tiny incisions, which means patients may experience less pain, a shorter hospital stay and quicker recovery times.
