Arce Montoya, M.D., has joined the Holy Cross Medical Group.  

Dr. Montoya joins Holy Cross Medical Group as a specialist in family medicine with a focus on adult medicine, annual wellness visits, primary prevention, fall risk assessments, depression screenings, care coordination and care management. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Prior to joining Holy Cross, he served at several urgent care centers across South Florida. Dr. Montoya received his medical degree from Caldas University in Colombia, South America. He then completed his internship and residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. 



Barry T. Katzen, M.D., FACR, FACC, FSIR, founder and chief medical executive of Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute and world-renowned pioneer in interventional radiology has also been named Chief Medical Innovation Officer for Baptist Health South Florida.

Dr. Katzen has been recognized globally as a leader in advancing cardiovascular medicine. He is the founder and Chief Medical Executive of Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute (MCVI), a system-wide center of excellence that is part of Baptist Health South Florida. He is also Professor and Founding Chairman of the Department of Interventional Radiology, and Professor of Surgery at Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
 
Dr. Katzen graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine, completed his residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, and studied in London and Rome at three points in his educational career. He has been recognized in the University of Miami School of Medicine Hall of Fame and has received Gold Medals from the Society of Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe. 



Antonio Beltran, M.D., an experienced urologist has joined Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) in West Palm Beach, FL. Dr. Beltran specializes in all aspects of general urology both clinically and surgically with special interests in minimally invasive benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and urinary incontinence for both the male and female patient population. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is on-staff at Good Samaritan Medical Center and St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach. 

Prior to joining TFPS, Dr. Beltran worked as an urologist at Martin Health Systems located in Stuart, FL. His experience in practicing urologic medicine is extensive. Dr. Beltran worked as an urologist in private practice from 1998-2015 including 15-years as a solo practitioner. He served on the board of directors for Tradition Surgical Center from 2017-2019 and for the Surgical Center of the Treasure Coast, 2004-2014. Dr. Beltran was Chairman, Department of Surgery in 2007 and Chairman, Credential Committee in 2005-2006 at St. Lucie Medical Center. He also served on the hospital’s medical executive and surgical quality committees as well as the credential committee at Martin Memorial Hospital.

For his education and training, Dr. Beltran completed an internship and residency in general surgery and a residency in urology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He graduated medical school from University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Beltran has been practicing medicine since 1992.



Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) announces Harry Shufflebarger, M.D., a pediatric orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric spine surgery, is relocating his practice to the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute in West Palm Beach.

Prior to joining TFPS and the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute, Dr. Shufflebarger served as Chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, then Director, Division of Spinal Surgery at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, formerly known as Miami Children’s Hospital. Dr. Shufflebarger is currently a distinguished clinical professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Miami School of Medicine, located in Miami, FL. Dr. Shufflebarger was named the President of the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) in 1999, a distinction he held after serving several different roles within the organization from 1993-2006. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Scoliosis Research Society in 2016.
Aaron Huser, D.O., an orthopaedic surgeon and limb deformity specialist, has also opened his practice at the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute in West Palm Beach.
 
Prior to joining TFPS and the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute, Dr. Huser worked as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, MN.
 
For his education and training, Dr. Huser completed a fellowship in limb deformity at Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute (2017-2018) and a pediatric orthopaedic fellowship at Washington University and St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Huser finished his orthopaedic surgery residency and served as Chief Resident at Rowan University and Inspira Health Network located in Vineland, NJ. He completed his internship at Michigan State University and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI. Dr. Huser graduated medical school from Midwestern University and Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine located in Downers Grove, IL.



Elizabeth Steinberg, M.D., a pediatrician, has joined Broward Health Physician Group. Her primary practice is located at Broward Health Weston and and she is affiliated with Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital. Steinberg has been practicing medicine in general pediatrics since 2012 and her special interest is in newborn care, asthma and developmental issues.

Prior to joining Broward Health, Steinberg worked as a physician in the pediatric emergency department at King’s County Hospital in New York. She is a professional member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
 
Steinberg earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in biology from Temple University. She received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in West Indies, Grenada. Dr. Steinberg completed her residency in pediatrics at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in New York.
