Westside Regional Medical Center’s stroke program has earned The Joint Commission’s Advanced Thrombectomy-Capable Certification. This certification validates the hospital meets rigorous standards when performing mechanical thrombectomy procedures, a procedure used to remove a blood clot from the brain during an ischemic stroke.
