Catholic Hospice celebrates hospice month with servitude remembrance and gratitude. We are thankful to our patients and their loved ones who entrust us, to deliver the highest level of care during this very delicate time in their life. We are also appreciative to all our team members who carry out our mission and vision while delivering the highest level of quality compassionate care. We give thanks to all of our community partnerships that enable us to carry out the work that we do.Here at Catholic Hospice we are about celebrating life’s moments. We have created remembrance ceremonies during our support groups as we acknowledge the difficulties many may face while preparing for the holiday season. We have also partnered with local agencies to establish community support services directed at helping people who are coping with grief and loss. We allow our teams to acknowledge the grief they may experience having cared for someone who has passed away. Our commitment to treat our patients and their loved ones is reflected through our team’s commitment to the South Florida community by extending care through our special programs. Our robust Camp Erin provides bereavement support for children under the age of 17 who experienced the loss of a loved one. Our pet peace of mind program allows the adoption of our patients pets in the home so that they can focus on their well being, while knowing their pet will be well cared for. Our We Honor Veterans program allows veteran to veteran support. We have partnered with multiple veteran organizations, formed veteran community relationships to proactively meet the needs of those who have selflessly given of themselves for our freedoms. Our L’Chaim Jewish program is dedicated to meeting the needs of our Jewish community for honoring tradition. Our Wishes Granted program, through generous philanthropic donors, has allowed us to fulfill the last wishes of many patients we have served.
