Broward Health Coral Springs is pleased to announce the promotion of Cecile Kaplan, BSN, RN, CNOR, CPHQ, CSSGB, LHRM, from Quality Management Specialist to the Coordinator, Epidemiology position.
Cecile graduated with a BSN degree from Trenton State College in 1984. Cecile has been with Broward Health for the past 5 years and is a past Quarterly Shining Star and Quality Nurse of the Year. Cecile is triple certified as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Certified OR Nurse and a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Cecile also holds a risk management license. Cecile completed the HRET (Health Research & Education Trust) Improvement Leadership Fellowship in 2014. Cecile has been very active in Six Sigma Quality projects most recently with the Pediatric Asthma Pathway. Cecile has presented the team projects at professional conferences the last being the South Florida Nursing Consortium in 2016. Her knowledge and expertise will elevate the Epidemiology program here at BHCS.
