October 10 Registration Required to Guarantee Timely Delivery of Tasting Items
OCTOBER 8 2020 – A virtual wine tasting with celebrities? Yes, it’s real, and it will be spectacular.
The fundraiser, featuring former major league ballplayer and South Florida icon Jeff Conine, enables wine lovers in the age of COVID-19 to gather (via Zoom link), taste, and discuss specially-chosen wines with a sommelier. Participants are encouraged to dress in luau attire for the event that will raise money to support the nonprofit Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The Celebrity Virtual Wine Tasting takes place Friday, November 13 (5:30 p.m.), but RSVPs must be received by October 10 to guarantee the timely delivery of wine, cheese, and a charcuterie board for 1-2 people. Spots on the Zoom call can be reserved at www.diamondangels.org.
Presented by UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), the wine tasting is hosted by the Diamond Angels of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, a volunteer membership group that has raised more than $6 million to support the pediatric facility’s mission to provide safe, high-quality, patient and family-centered care.
