Dr. da Fonseca received his medical degree from the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine in Miami, where he was awarded a National Conference of Family Medicine Students Scholarship and named Outstanding Student in Family Medicine and Geriatrics. He completed his residency in family medicine at the Family Medicine Residency program at West Kendall Baptist Hospital through an affiliation with Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami. He was in the first class of residents and served as the inaugural chief resident.
