Internist Cindy Shaffer, M.D., has joined Baptist Health Medical Group. Dr. Shaffer specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of health issues, including simple and complex health concerns, internal medicine, chronic disease management, minor emergencies and urgent care, women’s health issues and the coordination of care with specialists.

 

Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Shaffer had her own private medical practice and worked as a hospitalist at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She continues to teach young doctors in training as a faculty member of the Internal Medicine Residency Program of Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Shaffer is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and is a member of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida.
