Abbee Taddesse, R.N., a telemetry and medical-surgical nurse, was a DAISY Award Winner in March 2017. She was nominated by the daughter of a patient and was commended for providing the patient with a great experience when he was recovering from a prostatectomy.

 

Andrea Buchman Kissane, L.P.N., in the Department of Endocrinology, received a DAISY Award in May 2017 for her care of a unique and complex group of patients. Nominated by a physician, Kissane is described as a hard worker who has made countless contributions to the success of the Diabetes Clinic at Cleveland Clinic Florida.

 

Surgical ICU Nurse Lourdes Wilson, R.N., won the DAISY Award in July 2017 for being the go-to nurse on the night shift for training new open heart and transplant nurses, as well as providing compassionate care.

 

Nicole Thebeau, R.N., another surgical ICU nurse, received the DAISY Award in October 2017. Nominated by the family of a patient, Thebeau is described as kind and professional.
