Cleveland Clinic security officer Cleiton Juffo, a former Marine sergeant and infantry squad leader with the 3rd Battalion 8th Marines Kilo Company, enlisted the support of Cleveland Clinic in Florida to collect personal items, including wet wipes, magazines, toothpaste, protein bars, beef jerky, and batteries, for his former unit now serving in Afghanistan. Donated items, filling nearly two rooms at the Cleveland Clinic, and thank you notes from the employees were shipped out in January and will soon bring some comfort and good cheer to soldiers serving abroad.
