Claude Jones, D.O., has been appointed as the medical director for the Primary Care Institute at Cleveland Clinic Martin Health.

With a distinguished career in healthcare, Dr. Jones brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine Healthcare Quality with fellowship training in Addiction Medicine. His academic pursuits have earned him a Master of Public Health and a Master of Science in Law and Policy from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Jones has a strong background in public health, having served as Medical Executive Director of the Lake and Putnam County Health Departments in Central Florida, where he provided oversight in various medical and health areas. Prior to his current role, he was the President and CEO of Care Alliance Health Center, where he focused on social determinants of health and health equity. His commitment to public health is further demonstrated by his appointments to the National Advisory Council for the National Health Service Corps by the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Environmental Health Professionals Advisory Board by the Florida Surgeon General.
