Columbia Hospital has announced the appointment of Ananda Rampat to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Columbia Hospital, he was Controller of the East Florida Division of HCA, Hospital Corporation of America, in Ft. Lauderdale. Rampat has been in health care financial positions since 1991. Prior to joining HCA, he worked for Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL as Director of Financial Planning and Budgeting.

Rampat received his B. A. Degree in Economics from The Polytechnic, in Wolverhampton, U. K., and his Masters Degree in Health Services Administration and a Masters Degree in Accounting from Florida International University.
