FEBRUARY 2025 – WEST PALM BEACH – Conviva Senior Primary Care hosted a special celebration for their patient, Wing Fook Li (also known as Joseph Li), who turned 102 years old last week. The celebration took place on Friday, February 14, making it the perfect Valentine’s Day gathering to honor and recognize the remarkable life of their patient.
This milestone not only marks the passage of time but also highlights a life filled with remarkable achievements and experiences. The event served as an opportunity to recognize Li’s service during World War II and his extraordinary life as a member of the US Army Air Corps.
“I’ve enjoyed today very much,” said Li. “Everybody is so nice!”
Family, friends, and the team at Conviva Senior Primary Care, including Li’s physician, Dr. Cassanego, came together to honor his life of resilience, courage, and longevity.
“Mr. Li is an amazing and wise man; he has a mind as clear as a whistle,” said Dr. Cassanego. “Whenever he comes to see me, I think I get more from him than he gets from me. He’s such a wonderful person.”
Dr. Cassanego attributes Joseph’s longevity to his lifestyle, which includes daily exercises, activities, and companionship—elements he stressed are key for seniors as they enter their golden years.
“Having a strong support system for seniors is essential. Here at Conviva Senior Primary Care, we are working to be that organization for our seniors,” Dr. Cassanego added. “Having friends around is very important, and our activity center offers daily activities and gatherings that keep everyone busy.”
For his service, Li received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Bronze Star with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Asia Pacific Theater Service Medal, American Theater Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge, and the World War II Victory Medal.
