Nurse Manager of children’s services at Broward Health Coral Springs Medical Center(CSMC), Sylvia Conlee, received the Nursing Spectrum’s Nursing Excellence Award in the category of Management.
Conlee’s strong management skills are combined with her gift of an effective clinician. During her seven years at CSMC, she has implemented best practice standards and protocols for rapid response, seizure, sepsis, pediatric standard dosing, pediatric standard concentration and more.
Overseeing an annual budget of $5 million, Conlee oversees the inpatient pediatric unit, the pediatric intensive care unit, the neonatal intensive care unit, and the pediatric ER.
