On the evening of Saturday, June 28, 2014, Thomas Mesko, M.D., was installed as the 104th President of the Dade County Medical Association (DCMA).
 
Also installed as officers of the DCMA were Andrew Nullman, M.D., President-Elect; Eduardo G. Martinez, M.D., Vice President; Eugene S. Fu, M.D., Secretary; Raul Ravelo, M.D., Treasurer. Eleonor Pimentel, M.D., remains on the Board as Immediate Past President.
 
Joining the officers as directors on the DCMA Board are Carlos Alonso, M.D.; Alberto Dominguez-Bali, M.D.; Eugene Eisner, M.D.; Milagros Huerta, M.D.; Jorge Marcos, M.D.; Rudolph Moise, D.O.; Barbara Montford, M.D.; F. Javier Ruiz, M.D.; Judith Samuels, M.D.; Charles Shenker, M.D.; Juan-Carlos Verdeja, M.D.; and James Voglino, M.D.
 
The Dade County Medical Association, founded in 1903, has a legacy of over 100 years of commitment to physicians and the health and well-being of the residents of Miami-Dade County. The stated mission of the DCMA is to support its members in all aspects of the practice of medicine; to serve physicians and their patients by establishing and promoting ethical, educational and clinical standards for the medical profession, and to advocate the highest principle of all, the integrity of the patient/physician relationship.
