She is an optimistic team player who is well respected and recognized by her peers for mastering, developing, nurturing and leveraging relationships to drive positive outcomes.

Sarilia Therildor started at Delray Medical Center as a new grad on the Neuro Telemetry unit in 2008 and transferred to the Emergency Department in 2011. In 2022, she was promoted to Clinical Manager in the ER.

Sarilia successfully completed her Nurse Practitioner License in Family Practice and was then promoted to Major in the Air-Force Reserve. Her enthusiasm, strength and leadership skills have taken the Emergency Department to a higher level. Perhaps one of Sarilia’s most admired attributes is her humility. She lives to serve others and her country – and was recently deployed overseas.

In 2020, Air Force Major Sarilia Therildor, 927th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, headed to New York City to care for fellow Americans. With less than 24 hours’ notice, doctors and nurses assigned to the 927th Air Refueling Wing boarded a C-130 at MacDill AFB, Fla., on April 5, headed for Joint Base McGuire-Lakehurst, NJ where they were part of more than 100 medical professionals sent from Air Force Reserve Command to work with state and local authorities in the region to combat COVID-19.
