May 7, 2026 – Delray Medical Center has successfully launched its transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement (TTVR) program using the EVOQUE Tricuspid Valve Replacement System, offering a transformative treatment option for patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation.

Tricuspid regurgitation, a historically underdiagnosed and undertreated condition, can lead to significant symptoms including fatigue, swelling, and heart failure. Many patients are not candidates for open-heart surgery, creating a critical need for less invasive treatment options.

The EVOQUE system is a minimally invasive, transfemoral therapy designed to replace the native tricuspid valve and restore forward blood flow, improving symptoms and quality of life.

Patients being considered for this therapy undergo a comprehensive evaluation by a multidisciplinary heart team, including interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, imaging specialists, and heart failure experts, ensuring a personalized and evidence-based treatment approach.
