DELRAY BEACH, FL -October 16, 2024—Delray Medical Center appoints Jessica DeVore, RN, MSN, to the position of Administrative Director of Surgical Services. In this role, she will be responsible for organizing and directing the operation of our various surgery teams and focusing on strategic growth in surgical services.
DeVore has over 20 years of nursing leadership experience across our region. Most recently, she served as the Director of Surgical Services for Palms West Hospital. In that role, she directly managed over 80 full-time equivalent employees while maintaining oversight of surgical services, including eight operating rooms, ASU, PACU, and the Sterile Processing Department.
“Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge to this role, with experience in our local market, so we are very excited to have her join our team,” said Heather Havericak, the hospital’s CEO said. “Surgery is a hallmark of what we do at Delray Medical Center, so having someone as skilled as Jessica means our patients will get the best care possible.”
Prior to that role, she was the Operating Room Robotics Coordinator for Broward Health.
DeVore received her bachelor’s in nursing from Ohio University and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama.
