Community members should reschedule missed screenings in order to get treatment for chronic or new illnesses

June 15th 2020-Delray Medical Center’s Imaging Center at Palm Court, will resume its full complement of outpatient and diagnostic services with safety standards in place.  These standards are built upon deep clinical expertise, as well as continuous incorporation of CDC, CMS, and state recommendations. They are a rigorous combination of infection prevention processes, training, testing, personal protective equipment and technology.  It is critical for patients to reschedule screening appointments that may have been missed or postponed.

“We understand that many of our patients were unable to schedule, or had to postpone their diagnostic appointments due to state orders and social distancing. They can now re-schedule these important screenings and tests at our Palm Court location,” said Maggie Gill, chief executive officer at Delray Medical Center and the Palm Beach Health Network. “We are making sure safety protocols are in place for our patients so they can feel safe and confident about getting the care they need.”
The DMC Imaging Center at Palm Court is part of Delray Medical Center and the Palm Beach Health Network, and offers a full complement of outpatient services from conventional x-rays to sophisticated diagnostic technology including:

Bone Densitometry

“Any delay in completing a required imaging study can impact a patient’s ability to get an early diagnosis and treatment,” said Dr. Stephen Leighton, medical director of radiology at Delray Medical Center.  “Our Palm Court location is re-opening with safety protocols in place, and offers another access point for our community to get caught up on tests and screenings.”
