August 16, 2024 – The Palm Beach Health Network promotes Derek Collins to Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). In his role, Collins will lead the strategic planning, service line development, and new business venture efforts to support a strategy of growth and expansion of the Palm Beach Health Network

His proven track record of driving successful initiatives across diverse healthcare sectors will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to expand and enhance the services we provide to our community.”
Collins comes from Tenet Healthcare’s corporate office in Dallas, Texas, where he served as Senior Director of Business Planning. In that role, he led enterprise-wide business planning to drive growth for Tenet’s ambulatory surgery centers, hospital and physician practices. He spearheaded a multifaceted team supporting service-line expansion, sales operations optimization, and new facility development. He has diverse work experience, spanning various industries with a strong emphasis on program development. Prior to joining Tenet, he worked at McKinsey & Company where he served as an Engagement Manager. Before joining McKinsey, Collins was employed at DaVita Kidney Care, where he held the positions of Manager, Home Modalities and Analyst, Corporate Strategy.
Collins earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Brigham Young University, and his Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
