Lee Health’s annual Red Sox event series continues support for Golisano Children’s Hospital

Jan. 22, 2026 – On March 10, the Annual Red Sox Celebrity Classic Event Series culminates with Dinner on the Diamond at JetBlue Park, an evening that directly supports life-changing care at Golisano Children’s Hospital. For more than three decades, the Boston Red Sox have stepped up to the plate for children in Southwest Florida.

Proceeds from this family-friendly event will benefit intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) services, helping ensure children with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, epilepsy, spina bifida, and other complex conditions receive the specialized, compassionate care they need to thrive.

Today, one in six children experiences sensory processing challenges, and in Lee County alone, nearly 100,000 children require specialized support. Funds raised through Dinner on the Diamond help expand access to developmental evaluations, therapies, and coordinated care that empower children and provide critical support for families navigating lifelong diagnoses.

Following the day’s spring training game, attendees will join members of the Boston Red Sox on the field for a seated dinner at JetBlue Park. The evening includes a player Q&A session, autograph opportunities (based on player availability), dinner provided by Outback Steakhouse, and a silent auction featuring exclusive sports memorabilia.

The Red Sox have called Fort Myers home for spring training since 1993 and have supported Golisano Children’s Hospital for 33 consecutive years, making this event series a cornerstone of philanthropic impact in the region.
