Darren Hoffberger, D.O., FCCP, and Jonathan Harris, M.D., were recently awarded the Physician MVP awards at Broward Health North Broward Medical Center (NBMC). The award is given quarterly to doctors who go above and beyond their call of duty.

Dr. Hoffberger, a pulmonologist, is very active at North Broward. He is currently a member of the Medical Council, chairman of the Medical Review Committee and medical director of the Respiratory Department, Sleep Disorder Center and Specialty Care Unit – all at NBMC.

Dr. Harris is a neurologist who has been practicing at North Broward for more than 15 years. He is the medical director of the Comprehensive Stroke Program at NBMC. He serves as the chairman of the IRB for North Broward and is a member of the EMS Pre-hospital Research Committee for Broward County.
