Already renowned for her work in hair and nail diseases, Antonella Tosti, M.D., a professor in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, has been awarded the first Fredric Brandt Endowed Professorship. The $1 million professorship will enable Tosti to continue her research and education in dermatology.
Dr. Tosti is the author of nearly 700 scientific papers. She developed dermoscopy for the diagnosis and care of hair diseases and has shared her knowledge with experts around the globe, making her the perfect example of someone who can uphold the standard of Dr. Brandt and honor his work, according to Stephane Colleu, president and CEO of dr. brandt skincare.
