For the 42nd time, Dr. Arun K. Garg, founder of the Center for Dental Implants, is leading a team of dentists from throughout the United States to the Dominican Republic. While there, the more than 25 dental professionals will provide a wide range of services, from simple cleaning to complex surgery for the many men, women and children of the Dominican Republic who do not have the means or access to good dental health professionals, all free of charge.

 

Dr. Garg, through the charity he founded, The Garg Foundation, has sponsored traveling missions to various countries. Most recently, trips to the Dominican Republic have been fairly frequent to offer modern dentistry to residents in Santo Domingo. The city officials have been very accommodating and in the past year, Dr. Garg has constructed a building dedicated to seeing patients, funded by his Foundation. The 26-chair location is complete with state-of-the-art dental equipment which enables Dr. Garg and his doctors to provide approximately $2 million in free dental services on each trip.
