Deise Granado-Villar, M.D., MPH, FAAP, has been appointed Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President for Medical and Academic Affairs at Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH), after serving in the post in an interim role since July 2008.

Dr. Granado has been part of the MCH family since her residency in 1987 and has held many leadership roles at the hospital, most recently serving as Chief of Pediatrics and Vice-President of the Medical Staff while continuing to serve in her original role as Director of Preventive Medicine and Community Pediatrics.
