February 6, 2025 – After serving nearly five years as chief medical officer of HCA Healthcare East Florida Division, Dr. Jason Kelly is being promoted to CMO of HCA Healthcare’s National Group. He will be working at HCA Healthcare’s corporate office in Nashville, TN.

Since joining HCA Healthcare East Florida Division in 2020, Dr. Kelly has consistently demonstrated excellence in patient care, physician leadership and operational performance. Under his guidance, HCA Healthcare East Florida Division focused on improving quality outcomes at 14 hospitals in Miami-Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.

In his new role, Dr. Kelly will oversee the implementation of the care excellence agenda across HCA Healthcare’s National Group and hold each division’s clinical leadership accountable to that performance. Dr. Kelly will also serve as part of the group leadership team overseeing 54 facilities from five HCA Healthcare divisions in 11 states providing clinical input on strategy and hospital clinical operations.

Dr. Kelly’s career with HCA Healthcare began in 2004 when he joined the medical staff as a board-certified radiologist at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Lone Tree, Colorado. After serving in a number of medical staff leadership roles, he was promoted to CMO in 2017.

Dr. Kelly is currently a board member of the Broward County Medical Association and on the Executive Leadership Council for Nova Southeastern University. He begins his new role as CMO of HCA Healthcare’s National Group on March 1, 2025.
