David A. Lubarsky, M.D., M.B.A., Emanuel M. Papper Professor and Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine and Pain Management at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, has been named Senior Associate Dean for Quality, Safety, and Risk Prevention and Assistant Vice President for Medical Administration.

Dr. Lubarsky currently oversees nine different operating room suites in seven facilities, including the anesthesiology service at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is also a professor of management at the University of Miami School of Business.
