Dr. Narendra Kini, M.D., MHA, President and CEO of Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH), has been named a recipient of Modern Healthcare’s CEO IT Achievement Award 2013. The awards, co-sponsored by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), recognize healthcare CEOs who demonstrate leadership and a commitment to using IT to advance their organizations’ goals.

 

Dr. Kini has served as MCH’s President and CEO since 2005. MCH’s Telemedicine program, which is part of Dr. Kini’s vision to provide access to advanced medical care to children anywhere around the world, will soon offer virtual subspecialist consultations with MCH doctors.
