Bradley Petitdos, RN, is a charge nurse at Broward Health Coral Spring’s Emergency Department. He started working as a health technician at the hospital and was quickly inspired by the team to grow in the medical field.

“I was inspired by the healthcare team of professionals that I now work with to keep rising,” Petitdos said. “As a nurse, I’m never alone in a difficult situation, I am part of an amazing  team.”

Petitdos has been working for Broward Health for nearly 15 years. This year, he received the 2022 Nurse Recognition Award at the First There First Care & Gathering of Eagles conference for his patient care, volunteer work with Swim for Nick and his rapport with EMS.

He oversees incoming patients based on their level of injury and illness, conducts health assessments, administers medications, and provides and reinforces education to patients and their family members.

Petitdos earned his associate degree in nursing at Miami-Dade College and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s.
