Donny Perez, D.O., has dedicated more than two decades to emergency medicine, bringing calm, clarity and leadership to some of healthcare’s most critical moments. As Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Memorial Regional Hospital South and Core Faculty for the Memorial Healthcare System Emergency Medicine Residency Program, he plays a vital role in caring for patients while mentoring the next generation of emergency physicians.
Inspired by the fast pace and unpredictability of emergency medicine, Dr. Perez said what keeps him committed is “the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, even in small ways.” From saving lives to reassuring frightened patients and guiding families through difficult decisions, he approaches every situation with empathy and composure.
