Seven faculty members in Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing were recently recognized by the Florida Nurses Association (FNA) in the areas of Nurse Educator and Role Model at the FNA Membership Assembly. Those faculty members include Susan Dyess, Ph.D.; Rhonda Goodman, Ph.D.; Debra Hain, Ph.D.; Joy Longo, Ph.D.; Rose Sherman, Ed.D.; College of Nursing Dean Marlaine Smith, Ph.D. and Jill Winland-Brown, Ed.D.
“For our faculty to be recognized as part of the ‘Great 100’ is a true honor,” said Smith. “I’m pleased that we have such accomplished nurse educators, who are consistently recognized for their contributions in the field. Our faculty serve as role models to our students, demonstrating compassion, commitment and care in their daily activities.”
