Hendry Regional Medical Center Welcomes First Employee Experience Director, Jeannette Collins
December 2, 2024 — Hendry Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is proud to announce the appointment of Jeannette Collins as the hospital’s first Employee Experience Director and newest member of the Senior Leadership Team, effective December 1.
Collins brings 15 years of Human Resources experience, with a passion for elevating workplace culture, strengthening employee satisfaction, and supporting the people who support the community. Her expertise will play a vital role in further advancing HRMC’s employee-focused THRIVE culture, an initiative centered on teamwork, respect, integrity, value, and excellence.
One of Jeannette’s guiding principles comes from the words of Maya Angelou:
“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” This quote, a personal favorite, reflects her belief in meaningful connection and her commitment to making every employee feel valued and supported.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jeannette is known for her creativity and warm personality. She enjoys crafting, is currently learning to line dance, and has earned the affectionate reputation of being a “dog whisperer”—especially with her beloved dog, Zeus.
