The Doctors Hospital’s 5th Annual Fishing Tournament is August 28-30 at Chesapeake Beach Resort in Islamorada, and benefits the hospital’s Youth Athletic Outreach Program. The fun starts Friday with a kickoff cocktail party, captains’ meeting, silent auction and final registration. Saturday is the official fishing day, with lines in at 7 a.m. and lines out at 3:30 p.m. Anglers will bring their catch to the docks for the official weigh-in and dock party from 4 to 6 p.m. Winners will be announced at the awards beach party and dinner. The entry fee is $500 per boat for four anglers and $125 for each additional angler, with maximum of six anglers per boat. Social tickets are available for $100 per person.
