HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital Honors Volunteers During National Volunteer Week
Okeechobee County, Florida – April 26, 2024 – HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital proudly recognizes the invaluable contributions of its volunteers during National Volunteer Week. This annual celebration highlights the selfless dedication of individuals who generously donate their time to support the hospital’s mission of delivering exceptional patient care.
Among the exceptional volunteers highlighted this year are Donna Gaiser, serving as the current president of the volunteers. Donna’s commitment to excellent service in our gift shop sets a shining example for others to follow.
Lissa Smith stands out for her remarkable dedication over the last eight years, volunteering in various departments within the hospital. Her versatility and unwavering commitment make her an invaluable asset to the volunteer team.
Mindy Linville, a seasonal resident of South Florida, joined the volunteer family in February of this year and has quickly integrated herself into the hospital community. Mindy’s enthusiasm and passion for serving others embody the spirit of volunteerism.
The Raulerson Volunteers play a vital role in the hospital’s operations, providing essential support across numerous departments including the front desk, gift shop, food services, human resources, public relations, nursing units, outpatient, and patient access. Their friendly demeanor and dedication contribute to the welcoming atmosphere cherished by both patients and staff.
In 2023, these dedicated individuals collectively donated an impressive 11,624 hours of their time to enriching the lives of patients and supporting the hospital’s staff.
