Holy Cross Hospital President and CEO Patrick A. Taylor, M.D. announced that Drs. Carlos Casas, Sylvia Diaz, David Dunhill, Aviva Hopkins, and Frank McCormick have joined the Holy Cross Medical Group.

 

Dr. Carlos E. Casas joined the Holy Cross Medical Group from Stanford University Medical Center where he served as a neurosurgery clinical instructor.

 

Dr. Sylvia Diaz previously served as an endocrinology fellow at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami School of Medicine, prior to joining the Holy Cross Medical Group.

 

Prior to joining the Holy Cross Medical Group, Dr. David Dunhill served as an internal medicine resident at Emory University in the primary care track.

 

Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Aviva Hopkins recently completed the American Board of Internal Medicine Research Pathway program in rheumatology at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami, which combined research with training in clinical rheumatology.

 

Prior to joining the Holy Cross Medical Group, Dr. Frank McCormick served as an assistant team physician for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Steel, and DePaul University.
