The Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade was awarded the 2014 Governor’s Sterling Sustained Excellence Award which recognizes previous recipients of the Governor’s Sterling Award who are sustaining excellent results, continuing to pursue systematic performance improvement. DOH-Miami-Dade is the only three-time recipient of the Governor’s Sterling Award (2012, 2006 and 2002).
