The Florida Heart Research Institute (FHRI) is proud to announce that Tori Gabriel, MBA-HA, FHRIs Director of Education and Prevention, received an award for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in the “individual” category at Florida International Universitys Paths of Public Health Awards Luncheon. Gabriel was nominated for this award by Col. Brodes Hartley Jr., President/CEO of Community Health of South Florida. The award is given annually by FIUs Robert Stempel College of Public Health in an effort to recognize individuals and organizations for their contributions and commitment to promoting and protecting the health of the South Florida community.
