All organizations must ensure their participation agreements and other required forms have been turned in. April 10 is the deadline for integrations and data pathways to be built and ready for validation and testing. Failure to meet this deadline may result in loss of connectivity and interruptions in clinical data exchange.

Florida law and administrative rules require the following entities to contribute data to the Florida HIE:

• Hospitals with certified EHRs – Acute care, rehabilitation, psychiatric hospitals, including LTAC providers (408.0512(5), Florida Statutes)

• Skilled Nursing Facilities with certified EHRs (408.0512(6), Florida Statutes)

• Designated Baker Act receiving facilities / behavioral health receiving facilities
