With a distinguished background in government and international diplomacy, Rooney brings a wealth of experience and insight to our healthcare system.
Rooney served as the United States Representative for Florida’s 19th congressional district from 2017 to 2021, where he demonstrated unwavering commitment to public service and governance. His contributions to key committees and initiatives during his tenure reflect his dedication to addressing critical issues facing our nation.
Prior to his impactful role in domestic affairs, Rooney served as the United States Ambassador to the Holy See from 2005 until 2008. Additionally, Rooney is chairman of Rooney Holdings, an investment and holding company based in Naples, Florida.
