Four neurologists have joined the Holy Cross Medical Group.
Carlos Ramon Azaret, M.D., completed his residency in internal medicine at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA and his residency in neurology at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Azaret received his Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Central del Caribe Medical School in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and a B.A. in Psychology from Loyola University in New Orleans.
Abraham A. Chamely, M.D., received his fellowship training in electromyography at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and neurology residency at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital. Dr. Chamely completed medical residencies in Saskatchewan, Canada at University Hospital, Saskatoon and at Plains Health Center, Regina. He completed a medical registrar at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados and a rotating internship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and at Port of Spain General Hospital in Trinidad. He received an M.B.B.S. from University of the West Indies.
Martin Allan Lesser, M.D., received his fellowship training in electromyography at Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Ohio and completed residencies in neurology and neuropathology at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital. He interned in the Department of Medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital/V.H.A. in Dallas. Dr. Lesser received his medical degree from Case-Western Reserve School of Medicine in Ohio and a B.A. in Biology with Distinction from Boston University.
Sheryl Strasser, M.D., holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University and practiced veterinary medicine for eight years before attending medical school at the University of Miami. She completed her residency in neurology at Jackson Memorial Hospital and her internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
