Fran Glick, director of imaging services, has received Mariners Hospital’s Osprey Award for Outstanding Leadership.
Glick was nominated by employees for her exceptional leadership skills and her ability to put together teams that achieve outstanding results. Glick has received national recognition for her patient safety initiative, an innovative program to identify high-risk patients and lower their risk for contrast-induced acute kidney injury, a serious complication that may occur as a result of IV contrast agents. Glick is an active participant in many hospital teams. However, her signature event is the Wacky Sports Challenge, which she created three years ago; the event raises money for the National Kidney Foundation. Ms. Glick serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Kidney Foundation of Florida.
