How Broward Health is Transforming Access
to Care for Vulnerable Communities

WHAT: Broward HealthPoint, in partnership with the City of Lauderhill, is bringing to Lauderhill Stay Healthy Together, the healthcare initiative that expands accessible, high-quality healthcare to Broward County residents in underserved communities.

WHY: Broward Health is bridging the gap for underserved communities by reducing barriers to healthcare access and connecting residents to quality, affordable primary care services.

The community can expect:

  • The first 600 attendees will receive a free food basket
  • A mobile health unit offering primary care services
  • Complimentary lunch
  • Access to food resources, health education and supportive services
  • Approximately 50 health-focused Community Partners
  • Fun, family-friendly activities
  • Face painting for kids

  • The kick-off is expected to draw more than 1,000 residents.

Following this event, Broward HealthPoint’s mobile units will remain in Lauderhill three days a week for 12 weeks, then continue serving the community one day a week for the next two years, ensuring long-term impact beyond the kickoff.
