Bethesda Memorial Hospital is proud to host third year medical students from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Regional Campus at Florida Atlantic University. The medical students will participate in four 6-week clinical clerkships in family medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics and psychiatry. The clinical clerkship in psychiatry will take place at the South County Mental Health Center in Delray Beach.

There are currently 15 students on rotation at Bethesda Memorial Hospital. The third year clinical clerkships for medical students are a critical part of the medical school experience during which students acquire clinical skills, as well as sharpen their knowledge of clinical medicine and how the healthcare system functions. The students will work both under the supervision of Bethesda faculty and the University of Miami clerkship faculty and will graduate from the medical program in 2011.
