Family medicine physician Gabriel Suarez, M.D., MBA, has joined Baptist Health Medical Group, a network of primary care doctors and specialists who provide high-quality medical care to patients of all ages, as part of Baptist Health Primary Care. Dr. Suarez specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of health issues, including simple and complex health conditions, chronic disease management, minor emergencies, urgent care and the coordination of specialty care. He also focuses on wellness and prevention to help patients prevent disease, decrease disability and maintain good health. Dr. Suarez is affiliated with West Kendall Baptist Hospital and will see patients at Baptist Health Medical Group Family Medicine Center, located at 15955 SW 96 Street, Suite 200, in Miami. Patients visiting the center experience minimal wait times, same-day appointments and easy access to lab services, annual check-ups and flu shots and vaccines.

Dr. Suarez earned his medical degree at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami, Fla. He completed a residency in family medicine at West Kendall Baptist Hospital, Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, where he served as chief resident. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Management from Florida International University. He has received numerous awards for his academic and clinical excellence. Dr. Suarez conducts research in family medicine and his findings have been published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
