May 23, 2022 – We are almost there! Thanks to the 30+ donors and families who have made a gift to our “Launching a Legacy” capital campaign, we have secured nearly $3.5 million dollars, so we are better than 70% of the way there. And best of all, we accomplished this in just one fiscal year!

Once we reach our goal of $4.6 million, we will have completely funded our beautiful new facility, and will be fully on our way to a new era of programs and services. This is an exciting time, since our thoughtful plan to obtain this new, 10,000 square foot facility has come to fruition, as we are very near reaching our goal.

Our brand new, spacious facility has the warmth, comfort, coziness, and the welcoming look and feel you have come to know and love of Gildas South Florida. Our new building strengthens our services and programs with distinctive features such as ADA compliance, individual counseling rooms, cozy, welcoming support group rooms, a full teaching kitchen for healthy cooking classes, a fitness room, children’s and teen programming areas, a multi-purpose room for Clubhouse activities, and ample parking. The building is surrounded by a lush, green forest landscape in a tranquil setting that feels like home.

It is due to the vision and generosity of you, our donors – who are foundations, individual donors, and others – that we have made such remarkable progress. Words cannot express the deep appreciation we feel for so many who have contributed their time, talent and treasure to this vital project. We have enjoyed the path thus far, and will continue to enjoy it for many years to come, thanks to the special heart that so many of you have for our mission.
