Third annual tournament raises money for cancer support services
January24, 2025 – Groovy golfers teed up at the New Bonita Bay Club, Naples Jan. 12 to raise $111,000 for cancer support programs at the Lee Health Cancer Institute.
The shamble-style tournament was followed by dinner and a reception, with golf awards and awards for best outfit.
The proceeds will help enhance and expand essential support to cancer patients and their families in Southwest Florida. The Cancer Support Community program offers vital, free services to cancer patients and their loved ones. This program’s comprehensive support ensures that patients, survivors, caregivers, families and friends do not have to face the effects of cancer alone.
Philanthropic support for this program is ongoing. To donate and learn more, visit LeeHealthFoundation.org/event/2025-groovy-golf-classic/.
