Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital have partnered to create a new 29,000-square-foot pediatric health center and urgent care facility in Naples.
“The Golisano | Nicklaus Children’s Health Center is an innovative facility that brings pediatric specialty care, urgent care and other valuable health services to the children and families in Naples,” says Kathy Bridge-Liles, chief administrative officer, Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. “We are proud of this patient- and family-centered facility and the partnerships and collaboration that made it possible. This facility will provide access to specialized medical care and treatment to children, and will help us to continue to meet our mission ‘to serve children as close to home as possible.’”
Nancy Humbert, executive vice president, ambulatory services and external affiliations for Miami Children’s Health System shares their excitement for the new facility. “As part of our vision ‘to be where the children area,’ Miami Children’s Health System and its flagship Nicklaus Children’s Hospital are committed to supporting partnerships that enhance pediatric care excellence throughout Florida and beyond,” she says. “We are privileged to work with Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida to bring pediatric urgent care and subspecialty pediatric consults to support the children of the Southwest Florida regions.”
