Good Samaritan Medical Center and St. Mary’s Medical Center, both part of the Palm Beach Health Network, are recognized by the State of Florida for reducing the rate of unnecessary cesarean sections(C-sections) for low-risk births. The hospitals are being honored by the Florida Department of Health and the Agency for Health Care Administration. At a recent Florida Hospital Association Quality Conference, they both received the 2021 Award for Excellence in Maternity Care.
